Katie and Justin {Classy Dallas Wedding}

Katie and Justin were married at the Adolphus Hotel in Dallas this past weekend. So many special moments and details of the day came together beautifully to make for an unforgettable day. Katie’s mom made her veil, and used lace from her own wedding dress from 1980 for it. Katie also wore her mom’s pearl bracelet and grandmother’s pearl ring. Our prayers were answered, as the weather held off and we were able to take outdoor pictures before the ceremony at a park, where Katie and Justin saw each other for the first time on their wedding day. It was Katie and Justin’s desire that the ceremony be Christ-centered, and focused on the blessing of marriage, and it absolutely was. I heard several guests commenting on how beautiful the ceremony was. The reception was gorgeous and so fun! At the end of the night Katie and Justin danced one last time in the empty ballroom as guests awaited their departure with wishing wands. It was 6 years ago when I met Katie when she was in the bridal party of another wedding I was photographing (actually it was her maid of honor’s wedding!), and I’m so grateful to have gotten to work with her again, get to know her family, and her new husband! Congrats to you two. Here is a preview of the wedding day images, and at the end of the pictures is a list of the fabulous professionals who contributed.

Thank you to Leah Boaz for 2nd shooting with me.

Maternity Session {Stillwater OK}

We know several couples expecting babies in April, and two of those couples are in our family. This sweet maternity session was for my cousin and her hubby who are excited to welcome their first child in April! Our llamas made another cameo in portraits done at our house (I couldn’t resist the mamma and llamas caption) 🙂 Loved Kelsey’s long dress for these maternity pictures. Baby girl might be born around Easter, so the chicks and duckling shots were fun too 🙂 Yet another beautiful February day with plenty of sunshine!

Quilt made by Kelsey’s mom (my aunt Jeanette) for her first grand baby! Jeanette made Jerett and me an awesome quilt for our wedding gift almost 10 years ago, and I’ve used it in several portrait sessions. She’s so talented!

Dylan {SHS Senior}

Spring is in the air! (Or it was yesterday anyway)  Perfect time to be outside, taking pictures and best of all, heading to the baseball park! We had great light and scenery to work with, and of course, Dylan is very photogenic! Here are the highlights from his spring senior session:

Tyler and Katelyn {Country Engagement Session}

These two were lots of fun to work with on the very day after they became engaged! We had yet another gorgeous February afternoon to work with to get these sweet, beautiful pictures. Congrats to you two!! Here’s are some highlights from this country engagement session:

Caroline and Terry {Stillwater Engagement Session}

Caroline and Terry are engaged to be married this September! On a beautiful sunny February day, we started on campus before going over to Dibble and Son at 9th and Main (Terry is the craftsman behind the awesome handmade furniture), and then headed west to the country for some really awesome pictures with Terry’s truck! This was a sweet, special, beautiful engagement session! I really liked that we got to take pictures inside the store, because it was the place where Caroline and Terry first met!! Enjoy this previous of the engagement session:
