Angie and Ryan {Summer Stillwater Wedding}

Angie and Ryan were married June 22, 2019, at St. Francis with reception at Sparrow. These two have been together a LONG time and it was a beautiful day for their friends and family to enjoy celebrating with them. Ryan contacted me early in the spring of 2018 to coordinate secretly photographing his proposal to Angie, and I’m so thankful to have been able to photograph the wedding as well. Angie is a beloved teacher at Westwood and she had many teacher friends in attendance who helped rock the dance floor at reception 🙂 I will always remember the incredible flowers from this wedding! WOW! Also very memorable were the father-daughter dance and the bouquet toss! Congrats to this wonderful couple!! Preview of the wedding day images below:

Loved that Angie requested to see Brian to thank him personally for his work on the flowers.

Outstanding job by this lady who was the day-of coordinator for the wedding!! (red dress on left :))

Thank you to Brittany Smith for 2nd shooting with me.  Awesome job by Glo Salon for makeup, Addie Newman (hair stylist), Garden Party Florist, El Bto Vaquero (Catering), Ali Cakes (the cake was one of the best I’ve ever had), DJ Connection, Brandon Handy Media (videographer)

Sarah and Kyle

Some favorites from Sarah and Kyle’s engagement session!! We started on campus and made it to Boomer Lake for pretty evening light, and as you can see we had a great time with lots of laughter. These two will be married in October and I can’t wait for their fall wedding!!

Chelsea and Skyler {Stillwater Engagement Session}

I’m excited to share some of the highlights from Chelsea and Skyler’s engagement session. Somehow we ended up with a perfectly beautiful and dry day for their spring session! I love getting the chance to work with couples in Stillwater. Looking forward to the September wedding!!

Jaramillo Family {Stillwater, OK}

Jason and Lisa met at OSU in the early 2000’s when they were both student athletes here. This sweet family lives in Wisconsin, and this weekend was the first time they brought their four children back to campus and I’m SO glad they wanted to have family pictures done while they were here. It was a big weekend in Stillwater with Special Olympics wrapping up, the last home series at Allie P Reynold Stadium (Cowboys swept Baylor), and the Cowgirl softball team hosting a regional (on to the super regional in FL next weekend). Here is a preview of the family session on campus:

Tanner and John {Fall Wedding in Stillwater}

Tanner and John were married November 3, 2018, and I’m just now blogging their wedding!! Hopefully the timing is good for couples who are thinking about their fall weddings right now. Fall weddings are some of my favorite for the colors and temperatures; 2019’s season is already almost fully booked! Okay, back to Tanner and John, who had a very unique and memorable wedding day! The were no bridesmaids or groomsmen and the ceremony was mostly just family in attendance. Guests were invited to the reception and welcomed by the bride and groom as they entered at the Stillwater Country Club. The bride and groom got ready at the Atherton on campus, which provided awesome light and a balcony off Tanner’s room which was perfect for all her girlfriends to come over for a toast! (Maybe another reason there weren’t bridesmaids… Tanner has A LOT of friends, a testament to the type of person she is!) John and Tanner exchanged letters and gifts to one another before we went downstairs for the first look. The weather was a little iffy but I don’t remember it raining. After bride and groom pictures on campus we went to the Country Club where the ceremony and reception would be. It was a photographer’s dream to have enough time available and in two beautiful locations for the bride and groom portraits 🙂 After the ceremony we had my favorite type of skies for family and bride-groom portraits before guests arrived for reception (the sun comes out but the skies to the east are still dark). Another factor of fall weddings is that it’s college football season, and that matters to some of us fans; at this reception there were games on TV, so the die hard fans weren’t deprived. (OSU lost to Baylor at the last second right before we started the getting ready pictures and OU and Texas Tech had a wild finish late into the reception… I was hoping for an OU loss, but there would’ve been some grumpy wedding guests :)) The reception was a big fun party, and it was good to see some familiar Stillwater faces. John and I have actually known each other for 30 years! We lived across the street from his family when I was in Kindergarten and grew up together through all the years of elementary school and beyond. Tanner was such an amazing bride to work with – so spunky, thoughtful and caring. A day after her wedding she brought us flowers and left over wedding cake! Yet another benefit of shooting weddings in our hometown! Here are the highlights from the sweet, beautiful, fun day:
