Baby Jack {9 days old}

Pretty special newborn session to share today. Baby Jack’s parents were my very first couple to shoot a wedding for, back in 2004! He’s 9 days old here at the session with mom and dad at their home. So happy for you guys and this little blessing, a new sidekick to share life with!

Maggie and Michael {Rosemary Ridge Wedding}

Can we do June 9th, 2017 again? It was that much fun 🙂 Maggie and Michael were married at Rosemary Ridge, west of Stillwater, and everything (I mean EVERYTHING) was beautiful! The colors, the flowers, the CAKES, the table settings, the invitations and stationery, the guest sign-in table, the music, the setting, it all came together and made for a most memorable wedding. More so than the previous list, the most beautiful aspect was the emotion and love demonstrated between Maggie and Michael and their families on this day they had spent so much time planning. I’ll always remember the moments when the couple exchanged letters and gifts without seeing each other before the ceremony, and really the entire reception was action packed, full of fun moments 🙂 Checkout the cakes – each bridesmaid, the flower girl and ring bearer all had their own personal cake! Amanda and Justin {Sparrow Wedding}

Amanda and Justin were married on a beautiful June day at Sparrow, Stillwater’s new wedding venue. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed getting to know and work with these two genuine people from their engagement and bridal sessions, to finally the big day! I love listening to the toasts at receptions – it gives glimpse into the sort of people the bride and groom are, and these two are very special to their family and friends. From the emotional first looks to dreamy ceremony and setting to the action-packed reception with a special appearance by our own Pistol Pete, Amanda and Justin’s wedding was a celebration their guests will remember fondly 🙂 List of the wedding pros who contributed at the end of this blog post. Thank you to Shari Hatfield for 2nd shooting with me. Here’s a preview of the gorgeous day!

Amanda obviously got her beautiful eyes from Momma!

So fun to have your college friends celebrate with you! I’ve photographed three weddings for KDs the past two years, love you girls!

Amanda’s Bridal Portraits {Sparrow}

Amanda is as gorgeous on the inside as she is outside! I’ve loved the opportunity to work with her and her new husband, Justin. Here were some of my favorites from her bridal portrait session earlier in May. Sparrow is Stillwater’s newest wedding venue, located south of town, it offers so many beautiful spots for pictures with mature trees, awesome views and of course the stunning barn that has just been built! Check out that first picture on the right… I didn’t see that butterfly until I pulled the pictures up on the computer, and of course immediately sent it over to Amanda 🙂 Bouquet by Garden Party Florist.
