Myersmann Wedding

Britney and Blake had a really memorable and special wedding. The morning ceremony was held on the campus where they met in college at Sam Houston State University. Exactly one year before the wedding day (in Stillwater) we photographed their engagement session where they actually got engaged in a ceremony just between the two of them. On the wedding day, the couple arrived at the historic Austin Hall, got ready, and read letters each had written to the other. We took pictures before the ceremony at some locations special to the bride and groom. Instead of having a traditional wedding party, the couple considered everyone in attendance to be a part of their “wedding party,” and invited the guests to wear shades of green, blue, brown, and cream to coordinate with the wedding. The colors were beautiful! Lots of attention to detail and thought put into the wedding and reception decor. The ceremony was really touching – it was so sweet to hear about how the bride and groom met and the evolution of their relationship. Following the ceremony was a cocktail hour and then onto the reception! One of the fun things about the morning wedding, was having brunch food for the reception!! Britney and Blake grabbed a bite to eat before entering the reception and then after their first dance, had a receiving line so they could greet everyone personally. At the end of the fun reception, the bride and groom ran through the tunnel of love, being showered by bird seed. 🙂 Loved being a part of this special day. Here’s a preview of the pictures from the wedding day!

Many thanks to Leah Boaz for shooting this wedding with me, and these shots below of Blake getting ready.
